Automotive Cells Company (ACC) is a joint venture created in the summer of 2020 and backed by Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz and Saft (a subsidiary of TotalEnergies). Our ambition is to produce electric batteries at the highest technological level while developing cleaner mobility that is accessible to as many people as possible.

We are proud to manufacture, in our Gigafactory in Billy-Berclau, the batteries that already equip several electric vehicles available on the market (PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008, Opel Grandland, and soon the DS N°8, the Citroën C5 AIrCross and the new Jeep Compass).

The team drives the electro-chemical battery design process on cell level. You will interact with a large panel of stakeholders along the battery design and manufacturing value chain, from raw material supplier to end of line control in the factory. The key electro-chemical performance topics you will be working on are durability, fast charge and power performance.

Main missions :

- Lead and overview the breakdown of customer requirements to the cell system level and the electro-chemical components.
- Evaluate the performance impact of design parameters together with the component and performance engineers.
- Lead performance evaluation regarding design and customer requirements.
- Support the design trade-off between performance, manufacturability and cost.
- Accompany the industrial scale up through the sample phases (Prototype to Mass production).
- Support problem resolution and failure mode analysis in design and production.
- Exchange with academic partners electro-chemical performance research topics.

Vous ferez partie de l'équipe dédiée aux systèmes et à la performance électrochimique. Cette équipe pilote le processus de conception électrochimique des batteries au niveau cellule. Vous interagirez avec un large panel de parties prenantes tout au long de la chaîne de valeur de conception et de fabrication des batteries, depuis les fournisseurs de matières premières jusqu'au contrôle final en usine. Les principaux sujets de performance électrochimique sur lesquels vous interviendrez sont : la durabilité, la charge rapide et la performance en puissance.

Missions principales :

- Piloter et superviser la déclinaison des exigences clients au niveau du système cellule et des composants électrochimiques.
- Évaluer l'impact des paramètres de conception sur la performance, en collaboration avec les ingénieurs composants et performance.
- Diriger les évaluations de performance en lien avec la conception et les exigences clients.
- Soutenir les arbitrages de conception entre performance, fabricabilité et coût.
- Accompagner la montée en échelle industrielle à travers les phases d'échantillonnage (du prototype à la production en série).
- Contribuer à la résolution de problèmes et à l'analyse des modes de défaillance en conception et en production.
